Vince started in the flooring industry in 1996 as a carpet installer with his brother. They worked for several stores in the Ann Arbor area until they decided to open their own store. After being an appointment only store in an industrial plaza for a few years, Vince decided to make the jump to a stand alone retail location. Meanwhile, his brother decided to go back to school, install part time and eventually move out of state. Vince became the sole owner of Select Flooring. The store opened its doors at 400 N. Ann Arbor St. in Saline in March 2002.  Chris started working in the business in 2005 with a couple kids in tow. If you came in in those days, you knew it was a family business!
